School Horse Lesson Info + Waitlist
Teesdale is an English-style riding facility specializing in hunter and jumper training, with a strong emphasis on flatwork as the foundation for successful jumping. We cater to riders aged six and up, offering lessons for all skill levels—from beginners to advanced riders.
Having a large school string of horses allows us to match each rider with the their ideal equine partner, whether they need a gentle pony for beginners or an experienced horse for advanced jumping. We prioritize grouping riders by age and skill level to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
Lesson Requirements:
All new riders must complete an assessment lesson prior to registering for recurring lessons, to ensure a good fit.
Beginner riders must commit to a minimum of four recurring lessons per month.
Proper beginner attire includes pants (such as leggings), boots with a heel, and a helmet to start. Over time, riders will need riding pants and half chaps.
Group lessons are held at consistent days and times each week. Lessons currently run during the following times:
Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Wednesday to Thursday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Saturday to Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We are currently full in our lesson schedule. Click the button below to fill out our online waitlist form. We will email you if anything opens up that might be a good fit! The waitlist is long, and waitlist movement depends on a lot of variables (age, experience, availability), so we are unfortunately not able to give great estimates on that timeline.
